Highland Glen Park is an excellent choice when it comes to your next family session. Not only is it easily accessible, it has beautiful greenery, mountain views and a small pond. This extended family session took place in mid-November. The leaves had almost all dropped in the valley, but it wasn’t too cold for outdoor pictures yet.

Why choose an extended family session?
An extended family session is the perfect way to show the love and connections that span across generations. Sessions include grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins, and in-laws. Bringing everyone together isn’t always easy, but it’s completely worth it!

When you book a session with your family, you will be able to document how each family grows throughout the years. Each time you take another picture as a family, the children have grown up, more babies are brought into the family, and new marriages are shown. A professional photoshoot captures these special moments and ensures that your family’s story is preserved beautifully.
These sessions also offer the opportunity for a variety of groupings—grandparents with grandkids, siblings together, individual family units, and even fun candid shots that showcase your family’s unique dynamic.
Another reason to choose an extended family session is the convenience. Instead of scheduling multiple, separate photo shoots, you can gather everyone in one place, saving time and money. Plus, it’s a fun way to bring family members together, often resulting in spontaneous, candid moments that truly reflect the personality of your family. These sessions are less expensive than each family scheduling individual sessions on their own!

Choosing a location
Locations can be tricky when many families are involved. You need to make sure it’s easily accessible for your family, has great lighting and the weather isn’t too extreme.
