Spring is the perfect time for an orchard blossom photo session. After surviving a cold and dark winter, you deserve to celebrate the coming of spring with your family! Read on to see my favorite spring orchard blossom session locations, with one bonus spring location!

The location pictured is Rowley’s Red Barn in Santaquin, Utah. I love Rowley’s because it’s free, easy to access, has close parking and is generally less busy than many other surrounding orchards. This location is stunning, with tons of trees in bloom for your family to enjoy. Rowley’s Red Barn typically blooms in mid to late April. This year might be earlier due to a very dry winter. Reach out today about a blossom session!

Provo Orchard is another popular spring location. This location costs $25 to shoot at and requires prior booking. Because this is such a popular spring spot, I’d recommend shooting early mornings or weekdays to avoid the crowds.
Manning Orchards is a family owned orchard located in Fruit Heights. There is a small fee to shoot at this location (about $20 as of 2025). This location is not as busy as others and is a beautiful backdrop for your spring family session. Parking is across the street at the LDS chapel.
If you’re looking for a spring backdrop but don’t want to worry about the weather, check out Cook’s Farm and Greenhouse! This is a working greenhouse that allows photographers to shoot there. There is a $25/hour shooting fee and no prior scheduling is required. I love shooting at Cook’s Farm and Greenhouse because it’s always warm + beautiful, no matter the weather outside!

I’d love to work with your family at an orchard blossom photo session! Contact me today to schedule a spring session before my dates are gone! Check out my other spring blog posts here!
