Bridal sessions are one of my favorite types of sessions! Read on to find out why:

1. WEATHER Winter weddings in Utah have unpredictable weather. You really have no idea if it’s going to be snowing, raining or sunny on your wedding day. A bridal session allows you to pick a date and reschedule if needed, based on weather. This particular bridal session took place during a super sunny day in December. It was perfect!
2. TRIAL RUN It’s a great trial run for your hair, makeup and florals. You’re probably going to do trial runs for each of these anyways, so why not get some amazing photos out of it?
3. LIGHTING You get to choose your lighting! Ceremonies aren’t always at the best times, so choosing to do a bridal session at golden hour ensures that you get the look you’re going for!
4. PRINTS If you do a bridal session, you’ll have prints to display at your wedding luncheon and reception. Its a win-win!
