Alpine Extended Family Photographer

As an Alpine extended family photographer, I know how important it is to get an updated family portrait when you all get together. The bigger your family grows, the harder it is to get everyone together. You need to document this important time in your family.

What photos can I expect from my Alpine extended family photographer?

This is a great question! I want to make sure you get all the groupings that mean so much to you. Here is what I typically shoot:

• Full family group (if you’re here for photos, you are in this portrait)
• Full family group candid (picture grandkids running toward us, baby girl snuggled up against grandma, favorite cousins hugging)
• OG family (grandparents and siblings, no in-laws)
• OG siblings (this is a picture you don’t often have once people grow up and move out and moms love it!)
• OG siblings with parents and spouses (no kids!)
• Grandkids with grandparents
• Cousins
• Just granddaughters with grandma
• Just grandsons with grandpa
• Grandma + grandpa alone
• Each family group (each extended family session includes a 10-15 minute mini session of every family group)
• Individual portraits of each grandkid (grandma needs to update that cute grandkid wall!)

Please let me know if there are any special requests that I normally wouldn’t think of.

How do I prep my family for an extended family session?

Choosing what to wear is one of the hardest part of any family session. Choose a color palette that everyone can follow. Start with a few main colors (navy blue, sage green, cream) that most everyone already has in their closet. Text out your outfit suggestions to make sure everything looks good together.
